Accountant for Canadian Company in Mombasa
We are a Canadian company looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Mombasa. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and timely
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Create budgets and track expenses
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Process payroll
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks or Sage
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulations is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
