Turner - Metalworking Professional

As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metalworking machines to create precision metal parts. Your duties will include reading blueprints, setting up and adjusting machines, selecting and mounting cutting tools, and monitoring the machining process to ensure quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished parts and making necessary adjustments.

You should have a strong understanding of metalworking processes and equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. A background in engineering or a related field may be preferred. You must also have the ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments accurately. Strong attention to detail is essential in this role.

This position requires physical strength and stamina, as you will be required to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy materials, and operate machinery. Attention to safety protocols is crucial at all times.

As this role involves working with precision parts, you must have excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also important.

We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated, team-oriented, and has good communication skills. This position may involve working independently or as part of a team on larger projects.
