Part-Time Handyman for Student Housing in Manama
We are searching for a skilled and dependable Handyman to help maintain our student housing in Manama. As a part-time employee, you will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks to ensure our housing facilities are safe and functional for our students. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing broken appliances.
- Conduct regular inspections of the housing facilities to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.
- Repair or replace damaged items, such as doors, locks, windows, and furniture.
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow safety procedures while working with tools and equipment.
- Communicate with students regarding any repairs or maintenance work that may disrupt their daily activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
- Knowledge of basic repair techniques across various trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Salary:
This is a part-time position paying $1400 per month. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role.
