Freelance Translator and Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Translator and Interpreter to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a freelancer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality translation and interpretation services for our Indian clients. This is a remote position, so no English language skills are required. However, fluency in both English and an Indian dialect is necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents from English to an Indian dialect and vice versa with accuracy and cultural sensitivity
- Interpret live conversations between English speaking individuals and Indian speakers in various settings such as meetings, conferences, or events
- Proofread and edit translated documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Conduct research to ensure correct translation of technical terms or industry-specific terminology
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure timely delivery of all translation projects within the given deadlines

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English and an Indian dialect
- Proven experience as a translator/interpreter with excellent language skills
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences between English-speaking countries and India
- Familiarity with translation software tools is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Beer-Sheva (remote work)
