We are hiring a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta! As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality and visually appealing desserts are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all ingredients are properly measured and stored
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section of the kitchen
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings and seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decorations
- Creative mindset with a passion for desserts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Salary: $1300 per month
