Entry-Level Librarian


We are a reputable library in need of a passionate and dedicated Entry-Level Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and promoting library resources and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials, including books, magazines, and digital resources
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing materials
- Handle reference inquiries and provide research assistance
- Plan and implement library programs and events for all ages
- Promote library resources through marketing strategies
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop new services and programs
- Maintain accurate records of circulation statistics and inventory levels
- Stay updated on current trends in the library field to provide innovative services to patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with cataloging systems, reference tools, and technology used in libraries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for promoting literacy and providing access to information for all individuals

Location: Los Angeles (open to all nationalities)
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
