Professional Painter

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Professional Painter to join our team in Akron. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, stain, and other finishes to various structures and surfaces. Your main goal will be to provide high-quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Mix and match colors for desired shades
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
- Cover floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths or plastic sheeting to protect from paint splatters
- Follow safety precautions at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio of past work
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with painting techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good time-management skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
