Entry-Level Painter


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Entry-Level Painter to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Entry-Level Painter, you will be responsible for assisting with various painting projects, including preparation, priming, and painting of surfaces. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start a career in painting and has a passion for creating quality work.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply primer and paint to surfaces using proper techniques
- Clean and maintain painting equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in painting or construction preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques

Salary: $1200 per month
