Barista (Nizwa, Oman)



A well-established café in Nizwa, Oman is seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1400$ per month. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers.

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an asset)
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Must have a valid work visa (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve various coffee beverages such as espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and take their orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the café and equipment at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist in restocking inventory and ordering supplies when needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art is an asset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20lbs
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
