Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Seasonal)
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Sharjah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, menu planning and development, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. This is a seasonal job with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavors.
- Ability to create unique and innovative dishes that will appeal to our guests.
- Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen operations and leading a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Biometric passport is required for travel purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that showcase authentic Indian cuisine while meeting guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in proper techniques and procedures.
- Ensure high quality standards are met consistently by conducting regular quality checks.
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs through effective ordering and storage practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotions or special events centered around Indian cuisine.
