Junior DevOps Developer (Contract) - St. Petersburg, Russia


We are currently seeking a Junior DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in St. Petersburg, Russia on a contract basis. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of our company's DevOps processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and identify areas for improvement in the development process
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes
- Automate manual tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout the development process
- Work closely with developers to resolve any technical issues that may arise during the deployment process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills in English (Russian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1500$ per month.
