Job Title: Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in St. Petersburg, Russia
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in St. Petersburg, Russia. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu creation, food preparation and presentation, kitchen management, and ensuring the overall quality of our dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Create and update seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect current food trends
- Manage food costs while maintaining high standards of quality and taste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Oversee inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are always on hand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve our menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable culinary institute preferred
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that balance creativity with profitability
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of Russian cuisine is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)
