Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. You will also support the senior accounting team in various tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and tax preparation. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and strong analytical and organizational skills. A working knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Support the senior accounting team in various tasks
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Handle general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Conduct month-end close procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
