We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our network and computer systems to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain network hardware, software and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as needed
- Manage user accounts, permissions and security settings
- Install and update software applications as needed
- Perform regular backups to ensure data is protected in case of system failure
- Provide technical support to end-users for network or systems-related issues
- Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement new systems or upgrades
- Keep abreast of new technologies and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of network protocols, hardware, software, and security best practices
- Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/Server)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify complex technical issues quickly
and find effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
to non-technical individuals

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
