Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network and computer systems. Your primary role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and implement necessary updates or upgrades. You will also be responsible for maintaining data security and creating backups of important information.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in computer networking and systems administration, with a minimum of three years of experience in the field. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with team members.

This position is open to Pakistani nationals who are fluent in English. It is a contract job with a salary of 1400$, which includes accommodation. Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of the job.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Manage system backups and ensure data security
- Perform system updates and upgrades as necessary
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, email addresses, etc.
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and implement new network solutions
- Document network configurations and procedures for future reference
- Stay updated on new technologies related to networking and systems administration

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of three years experience in network administration/systems administration role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers/switches), firewalls, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English for effective communication with team members
- Strong documentation and organization skills
