Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Atlanta. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our organization's network and systems infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our network and systems, while also providing technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network architecture including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Manage network security protocols and implement necessary updates
- Maintain servers and ensure their availability for daily operations
- Troubleshoot system issues related to hardware, software, or connectivity
- Install new software or hardware components as needed
- Conduct regular backups of critical data on the network
- Collaborate with other IT staff to develop solutions for complex technical problems

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, etc.
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Active Directory user management and group policies
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues independently
- Excellent communication skills in English
