We are a leading manufacturing company in Akron, OH seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of precision.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using various tools and equipment
- Assemble metal parts according to specifications
- Weld or solder pieces together as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints and use various tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
