Commercial Architect - Mauren, Kenya

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings, such as office complexes, shopping centers, and hotels. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet their budgetary requirements.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience working on commercial projects. You should also have strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural software. Knowledge of building codes and regulations is essential.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Meeting with clients to discuss project goals, budget constraints, and design preferences
- Creating detailed drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD
- Conducting site visits to ensure construction is progressing according to plans
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Ensuring that all building codes and regulations are met
- Monitoring project budgets and timelines
- Providing guidance on material selection for cost-effectiveness
- Conducting quality control checks on completed projects

The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You should also be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
