Part-Time Librarian (English-speaking) in Balzers, Liechtenstein


We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time Librarian to join our team at a library in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloguing books and other materials, assisting patrons with finding resources, and maintaining the organization of the library. This position is suitable for candidates without experience in a library setting, but with a strong passion for books and literature.

Key Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with library cataloguing systems (experience preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:
- Catalogue new book acquisitions using the library's cataloguing system
- Assist patrons with locating resources and providing recommendations based on their interests
- Manage circulation services including loaning and returning books
- Maintain the organization of the library by shelving books and other materials
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to emails

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule will be determined based on the candidate's availability, but may include evenings or weekends.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
