Part-Time Preservation Architect


A reputable architecture firm in Gujrat is seeking a skilled and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic and culturally significant buildings and structures. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for architectural preservation and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on the history and significance of buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies in collaboration with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders
- Assessing the physical condition of buildings and structures
- Designing restoration, renovation, or rehabilitation plans that adhere to preservation standards
- Obtaining necessary approvals and permits from local authorities
- Overseeing construction projects to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
- Conducting periodic inspections to monitor the condition of preserved buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Prior experience in architectural preservation preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of preservation principles, materials, and techniques
- Excellent research skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant tools
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
