Accountant

We are hiring an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Malayalam or Nepali would be a plus. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure proper compliance
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Malayalam or Nepali would be a plus
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
