Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Manama. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staffing. Your main goal will be to provide our guests with a memorable culinary experience while maintaining high-quality standards and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect our restaurant's vision and appeal to our guests
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, from purchasing ingredients to presentation
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff according to business needs
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to enhance our menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and current food trends
- Creativity in developing menus that satisfy different dietary preferences
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Proficient in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
