Maintenance Technician

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintaining and repairing buildings, equipment, and facilities. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as needed
- Repair or replace damaged equipment or parts
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for maintenance tasks
- Ensure that all safety standards are met when performing maintenance tasks
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or Handyman
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor when required

Preferred:
- Experience working in a similar role in Vianden or Luxembourg
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
