Freelance Translator (English to Arabic) - Ufa, Russia
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Freelance Translator to join our team in Ufa. As a translator, you will be responsible for translating written documents from English to Arabic and vice versa. This is a remote position that offers flexible hours and the ability to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents from English to Arabic and vice versa with accuracy and attention to cultural nuances
- Proofread and edit translations for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Ensure all translated documents maintain the original meaning and context
- Conduct research when necessary to ensure accurate translations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency in translations
Requirements:
- Native proficiency in both English and Arabic languages
- Excellent writing skills in both languages with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one in a timely manner if not already possessed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a translator or degree in Translation/ Linguistics/ Language Studies is preferred but not required
- Experience using translation software or tools is a plus
- Ability to work with technical or legal terminology is an advantage
