Housekeeping Assistant


The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a private residence in Utena, with a focus on detail and high standards. This role requires a professional and discreet individual who takes pride in their work and is able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a housekeeper or maid, with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of household cleaning equipment. Fluency in English is required to communicate with the employers, who are Indian nationals. This position offers a competitive salary of $1800 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
- Clean all rooms in the residence including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of closets, cabinets, and storage areas
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected regularly
- Change bed linens weekly or as needed
- Handle laundry including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
- Keep track of cleaning supplies inventory and notify employers when supplies need to be replenished
- Assist with meal preparation if needed
- Report any damages or repairs needed in the residence to employers
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or maid is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Ability to use household cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, etc.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English for communication with Indian national employers
(knowledge of Hindi would be an asset)
- Physically fit to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for long periods of time
(able to lift up to 25lbs)
- Strong time management skills
(able to prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently)
- Professional and discreet with a positive attitude
- Must be legally eligible to work in Utena
