Dietitian - Bungoma, Kenya



The Dietitian role in Bungoma, Kenya is a professional position that requires a strong understanding of nutrition and the ability to work with individuals to develop personalized nutrition plans. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and be fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for clients based on their health goals and dietary needs
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and provide guidance on healthy eating habits
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with current nutrition research and trends to provide the most accurate and effective recommendations for clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of local culture and food preferences is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month, paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Location:
This position is based in Bungoma, Kenya. Local candidates are preferred but candidates outside of Kenya who are willing to relocate may also be considered.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The candidate must be available for appointments during weekdays, including evenings and some weekends.

Experience:
Previous experience as a Dietitian is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as long as they meet the qualifications listed above.
