Insurance Adjuster
We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Adjuster to join our team in Mombasa. As an adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and ensure fair compensation for our clients. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, including gathering evidence, reviewing documentation, and interviewing involved parties
- Analyze policy coverage and determine liability for damages or losses
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives in a timely and professional manner
- Keep accurate records of all activities, communications, and transactions related to each claim
- Collaborate with other departments as needed for complex claims or legal proceedings
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in insurance adjustment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance adjusting or related field
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software programs
Salary:
Competitive salary of $1700 per month.
Location:
This position is based in Mombasa but may require occasional travel within the country.
