Experienced Carpenter in Eldoret, Kenya
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood or other materials. You will work on various projects such as building frames, roofs, cabinets, and furniture. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry and must be able to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials required and dimensions needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, or staircases
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety regulations when working with tools and equipment
- Communicate with supervisors and clients to ensure project specifications are met
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
