Surveyor Assistant

We are a reputable surveying company based in Jizan, Saudi Arabia seeking a Surveyor Assistant to join our team. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will provide support to our team of experienced surveyors in conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and plans. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as total stations and GPS devices
- Collect and record data on land features, boundaries, buildings, and other objects using measurements and observations
- Help create accurate maps, plans, and reports based on survey data collected
- Maintain surveying equipment and keep them in good working condition
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other team members to coordinate surveying activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on site

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Surveyor Assistant or similar role is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to work with measurements accurately
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and levels
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Physically fit to work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions
