Head Chef - Lom, Togo
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our team at a renowned restaurant in the bustling city of Lom, Togo. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and leading a team, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Create and implement seasonal menus based on fresh, local ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to stay within budget
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experience for guests
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month, with potential for bonuses based on performance.
