Chef de Cuisine
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Lom, located in the beautiful country of Togo. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in culinary arts with a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes. Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop creative menus that align with our restaurant's concept
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to high-quality standards
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food quality
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
- Degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavors, and cuisines
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (in English preferred)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
