Entry Level Turner

A metal workshop in Nairobi is seeking an Entry Level Turner to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Canadian national looking to gain experience in the field of turning without the requirement of English language skills or previous experience. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of $1300 and will be provided with a free visa and ticket.

As an Entry Level Turner, you will work under the guidance of experienced turners and learn how to operate turning machines, read blueprints and schematics, and use precision measuring tools. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workshop.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in metalworking, good hand-eye coordination, and a willingness to learn. While previous experience is not required, candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical or technical fields will be given preference.

Please note that accommodation will not be provided for this position. As such, candidates must have their own accommodation arrangements in Nairobi.
