Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Acre. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Indian restaurant, from menu development to kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus for our Indian restaurant, ensuring a balance of traditional and modern dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper techniques and recipes for Indian cuisine
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop promotions and special events to attract customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Acre, Israel (accommodation provided)
