IT Manager - Karachi, Pakistan


We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company's technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth functioning. Your main duties will include managing our IT staff, developing and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring the security and maintenance of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the company's technology infrastructure
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance
- Develop and implement technology strategies to improve overall efficiency and productivity
- Ensure the security of our systems by implementing proper protocols and procedures
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware, software, and other IT services
- Create budget proposals for technology projects and manage expenses within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or similar senior position
- Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals
- In-depth knowledge of network administration and security protocols
- Strong understanding of hardware/software systems and infrastructure components
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Familiarity with budget management principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical individuals
