We are seeking a talented and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As the leader of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of creating delicious and visually stunning dishes. As an Executive Chef, you will also be responsible for managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring the highest level of food safety and hygiene standards are maintained. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred
- Experience in menu planning and cost control
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Creativity and passion for food with the ability to create new dishes and menus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations
- Develop new menus based on seasonal availability and current trends
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, presentation skills, and sanitation procedures
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability without sacrificing quality
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to plan special events or promotions
- Continuously strive for improvement in all aspects of kitchen operations
