Skilled Mason - Washington, Canada


We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in Washington, Canada. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, stone, concrete, or other similar materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up appropriate tools and materials
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or plans
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
- Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools such as hammers, saws, and chisels
- Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and surveying equipment
- Repair existing structures by replacing bricks or stones that are damaged or cracked
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason with knowledge of techniques and materials used in masonry construction
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Biometric passport required for international travel

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month. A higher salary may be offered depending on experience and qualifications.
