We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Washington. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and repairing brick, concrete block, stone and other materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, arches, chimneys and other structures. This is a full time job with a salary of 1000$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered and cut materials to size as needed
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in horizontal courses, filling joints with mortar
- Align structures vertically and horizontally, using levels and plumb bobs
- Apply weatherproofing sealant or mortar to vertical joints or surfaces as needed
- Construct corners by fastening in plumb position a corner pole or building a corner pyramid of bricks
- Remove excess mortar with trowels and hand tools, and finish mortar joints with jointing tools for a sealed finish

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Mason
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Knowledge of different types of masonry materials and construction techniques
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Non-Essential Requirements:
- Experience working on historical restoration projects
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to masonry work
