Crane Operator

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate crane according to safety regulations and manufacturer's instructions.
- Inspect crane components before use and report any defects or malfunctions.
- Determine load capacities and hoisting limitations.
- Safely rig loads and attach them to the crane for lifting.
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground personnel.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane, such as lubricating parts and checking fluid levels.
- Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure the work area is clear of obstacles and hazards before operating the crane.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator.
- Valid crane operator certification preferred.
- Knowledge of different types of cranes, their functions, and limitations.
- Ability to read and understand load charts.
- Physically fit with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Attention to detail with strong safety awareness.
- Good communication skills in English.

Salary: $1700 per month
