Pastry Chef for Authentic Malayalee Cuisine in Nakuru

We are searching for a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team and create delicious, authentic Malayalee desserts and pastries in Nakuru. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality desserts that showcase the unique flavors and ingredients of Malayalee cuisine. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop new dessert ideas and ensure that all pastries are made to perfection. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as a strong knowledge of traditional Malayalee ingredients and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Create unique and traditional Malayalee desserts and pastries
- Develop new dessert ideas that showcase the flavors of Malayalee cuisine
- Ensure all pastries meet high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and consistency
- Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate dessert offerings with the main menu
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs in traditional Malayalee pastry techniques
- Manage inventory of baking supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role, preferably with experience in Malayalee cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Malayalee ingredients, techniques, and flavors
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dessert ideas that align with our menu offerings
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of desserts to customers
- High attention to detail to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of pastries

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru (accommodation may be provided if needed)
