Metal Worker - Contract Position in Acre, India


We are in need of a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Acre, India. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing and installing metal structures and equipment. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month, without accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Indian candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, templates or scribes
- Cut, shape and join metal parts using hand tools, welding equipment or other machinery
- Install metal structures and equipment according to project plans
- Repair damaged metal structures or equipment as needed
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment and other machinery related to metalworking
- Good understanding of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending and lifting heavy materials

Preferred:
- Experience working with specialized metals such as aluminum or stainless steel
- Experience working on large-scale projects such as construction or manufacturing plants
