Bilingual Interpreter (English/Indian)


We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Siauliai, providing interpretation services for English and Indian languages. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating spoken words from one language to another in various settings, such as meetings, conferences, and interviews. Your main goal will be to facilitate effective communication between English and Indian speakers.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between English and Indian speakers by interpreting conversations in real-time
- Translate written documents from English to Indian and vice versa
- Ensure accurate understanding of the meaning and tone of the original message during interpretation
- Research and become familiar with industry-specific terminology to provide accurate translations
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting sensitive information
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Keep abreast of cultural differences and adapt interpretations accordingly

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, etc.)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of grammar rules for both languages
- Ability to maintain calmness under pressure
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed
- Familiarity with interpretation equipment is a plus

Salary: $1200 per month
