Part-time Librarian (English Speaking) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia

We are in search of a part-time Librarian to join our library team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services to our patrons, including organizing and cataloging materials, assisting with research queries, and managing circulation processes. This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English and have a biometric passport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating and selecting library materials
- Manage circulation processes including checking books in/out and collecting fines
- Catalog and organize new materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Answer reference questions and provide research assistance to patrons
- Maintain library facilities and ensure materials are properly shelved
- Collaborate with other library staff to plan programs and events for patrons
- Stay updated on new books, resources, and technologies that can enhance the library experience for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (preferred)
- Fluency in English (required)
- Experience working as a librarian or in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members
- Good customer service skills
- Availability to work part-time hours with some flexibility
