Accountant - Jerusalem, Israel

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Jerusalem, Israel. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Monitor budgets and expenses
- Conduct monthly/quarterly account reconciliations
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Provide support for any ad-hoc financial analysis or projects as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical mindset

Preferred:
- CPA certification or working towards it is a plus
- Experience working in a multinational or international company
- Fluency in Hebrew

Salary: Competitive salary up to 1600$ per month based on qualifications. This position is open for candidates from Pakistan or Nepal who have their own visa. Women are highly encouraged to apply.
