Commercial Architect

As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings in Washington. Your main goal will be to create functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs and budget of our clients. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and develop design concepts
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for commercial buildings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet building codes
- Review and approve shop drawings and material samples from contractors
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that designs are being implemented correctly
- Address any design changes or issues that may arise during construction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and new materials/technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial architecture design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations in Washington
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience working on commercial projects in Washington is preferred

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
