Surveying and Mapping Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting land surveyors in collecting and analyzing data to create maps, charts, and other spatial information. You will also assist in conducting field surveys and using surveying equipment to measure and record land features. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of survey data and assist in preparing reports for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist land surveyors in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps, charts, and other spatial information
- Maintain accurate records of survey data using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software
- Prepare reports on survey findings for clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety procedures while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying or related field
- At least 1 year of experience as a Surveying Technician or similar role
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels
- Familiarity with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software
- Good physical fitness as the role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
