Preservation Architect - Izhevsk, Russia


We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Izhevsk, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet current safety and building codes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is completed according to plan
- Research historical information and materials to accurately restore buildings to their original state
- Ensure all preservation work meets current safety and building codes
- Monitor project progress and budget to ensure timely completion within allocated funds
- Provide guidance and recommendations on proper maintenance techniques for historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or similar role
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations for preservation projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English proficiency preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Must have legal authorization to work in Russia
