We are searching for a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our computer networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure. Your main duties will include installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system security.
To excel in this role, you should have strong technical skills in networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity. You should also possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work well under pressure. Additionally, good communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with other IT professionals to resolve network issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer networks (LAN/WAN), protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam/Veritas)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. We welcome applications from all nationalities but proficiency in English is preferred.
