Contract Glazier

A reputable construction company in Gujrat is seeking a skilled Contract Glazier to join our team. As a Contract Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass according to blueprints or specifications
- Replace broken or damaged glass in buildings
- Fabricate metal frames for glass installation
- Seal joints and edges of glass with putty, rubber, or other materials
- Install weatherstripping and insulation around windows and doors
- Use tools such as cutters, grinders, and drills to shape and smooth glass edges
- Work safely at heights using scaffolding or ladders

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Glazier
- In-depth knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Excellent measurement and math skills
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy sheets of glass
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Own visa or ability to obtain one
