Experienced Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Braga. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your main duties will include preparing surfaces for painting, mixing colors and applying them to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other structures. You should have extensive knowledge of different painting techniques and tools, as well as the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks
- Choose the appropriate type of paint or finish for the project
- Mix paints and match colors according to specifications
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Use different techniques such as stenciling, sponging or faux finishing to achieve desired effects
- Ensure a smooth and even coat of paint by applying multiple layers if necessary
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Follow safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter in a professional setting
- Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, tools and materials
- Ability to mix colors accurately and match existing colors
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and work on ladders or scaffolding when needed
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial or residential painting projects
- Familiarity with different types of finishes such as varnish or stain
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials
- Experience working in various environments such as indoors, outdoors, heights etc.

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
