Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Acre. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the company's data and information systems from potential cyber threats. Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring network activity to ensure the safety of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the company's systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures, such as firewalls and encryption tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to enhance our systems' defenses
- Communicate with employees about security best practices and provide training if needed
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or breaches, conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or a similar role
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies
- Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and industry standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001)
- Familiarity with data protection laws (e.g. GDPR) and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Acre, Israel (preference for Indian candidates)

Employment type: Contract (with potential for permanent position)
